Senior Mechanical Draftsman (Posted on

We are looking for a senior mechanical draftsman with experience in 2D and
3D CAD or similar and prefer someone with stress analysis experience.
Experience in piping and structural drafting and familiar with oil and gas
standards preferred.
Permanent position.
Job Responsibilities will include but not limited to :
- ● Creation of 2D and 3D CAD drawings to provide setting out dimensions
& their details in General and detailed arrangement drawings.
● Preparation of Layout and P&ID drawings and Schematic Drawing in Auto CAD
● Preparation of detail fabrication drawings c/w materials lists and
welding schedules for piping and base frames in accordance with the
requirements in ASME and ASTM standards
● Create As built documentation post project execution.
● Operates AutoCAD programs & Updates print due to remodeling changes
● Preparation of Equipment drawings in MDT & Flexibility Stress Analysis
using ANSYS or Caesar software.
● Present Modeling & Other Mechanical Calculations (C of G, assembly
weights, loads at lift points etc) for Assemblies & Structures.
● Coordinates with Vendors & execution team for Flexibility Analysis as
standards and requirements.
● Mechanical & Thermal FEM Analysis & Calculations for their Structures.
● Supervise and ensure Company Quality document and drawing control
procedures.-
● Reporting to Project managers
● Review & Co ordinates with consecutive departments for successful
Execution of tasks.
Minimum three years experience in the mechanical design of process
packages. Experience in the design of Oil and Gas Metering systems will be
an advantage.
